Volunteering at the Library

Volunteers are essential members of the library team.  Their efforts help to improve service by freeing up paid staff to actively assist patrons and to create new and exciting material and program offerings.  They also serve as "library ambassadors" in the community, letting people know about all of the great things happening at the library.

Those interested in volunteering at the library can get the process started by filling out a Volunteer Application and returning it to Elizabeth Wilson at ewilson@granvillelibrary.org.  We offer periodic orientation sessions where we train new volunteers for work at the library.  After you fill out and return your application, you will be contacted to let you know when the next orientation session will be.
