Join Astrophysicist and Denison Professor Dan Homan for an evening in Denison's newly refurbished Marlyn P. McConnell Planetarium, located in the Olin Science Hall.  We will learn how the motions of the Moon around the Earth and the Earth around the Sun combine to create the amazing, rare spectacle of a total solar eclipse.  In our new digital planetarium, we will not only launch off the Earth to see how the eclipse happens from space, but we also take a brief tour of our solar system and our galaxy to show off some of the capabilities of our new facility. Each attendee to this program will receive up to 2 pairs of eclipse glasses.

Registration required. This program is for Adults, Teens & Kids Grades 3 & Up.
