In
an exciting collaboration with Denison music students and the acclaimed string
quartet ETHEL, one of Denison's Ensembles-in-Residence, chamber music students
will perform together with the string quartet, after a day of master classes
and coaching from members of the ensemble. The open dress rehearsal is an
opportunity for the public to be able to witness the inner workings of
performance preparation. This will be followed by a side-by-side performance, a
chance to see and hear how this preparation culminates on stage in performance.
The open rehearsal will begin at 1pm with the performance following at 2pm.
Audience members of all ages are welcome to one or both portions of the
event.
Registration is NOT required to attend this event. Open rehearsal and performance will take place in the library's Clara Sinnett White Reading Room.
