Take a break from the present and embark on a journey through time at our upcoming history presentation on the evolution of the arts quad at Denison University, from its original buildings off West Broadway between Mulberry and Plum Streets, to the addition of the Michael D. Eisner Center.

Join Marla Krak, the Arts Engagement Coordinator and Vail Series Assistant Director at Denison, as she guides us from the early days of the Young Ladies Institute in 1861, through the 1940-1960's carnival-like atmosphere of the Big Blue Summer Theatre Tent, to soda fountains in Bryant, the building of the Recital Hall, and much more. We'll delve into old photos and aerial views to uncover how this lower campus became the arts quad that it is today. Join us for this walk through history and be a part of Denison's ongoing narrative.

For Adults & Teens in Grades 7-12. Registration required.
