Should I Stay or Should I Eggo: Stanger Things S2 Party

For Teens 7-12 grades only.  Doors open 7:15-7:30 PM.  We cannot accommodate late arrivals.

Celebrate the return of Stranger Things with a special after-hours party!  We'll turn the library upside down with 80s tech, Stranger Things trivia, ESP testing, and a library scavenger hunt for Will Byers.  Plus button making, prediction stations, and waffle bar.  Fun Stranger Things prizes and a chance to win an Instax camera.  Cosplay is welcome and encouraged!

The Big Scream on the Big Screen: Psycho

 See the horror classic, Psycho, on the big screen at Slayter Hall, Denison University.  Free and open to teens Grades 9-12 through Adult.  Presented by The Friends of the Granville Public Library, the Denison Film Society, and Denison's Department of Cinema. 

Then join us, Monday, Oct. 16 when Philip Skerry, Professor Emeritus at Lakeland Community College and Ohio's foremost Hitchcock expert and author, weighs in on Hitchcock and his most famous and terrifying film and its impact on contemporary film.  Copies of Dr. Skerry's Psycho in the Shower: The History of Cinema's Most Famous Scene will be available for purchase.

"Where do I begin?" Estrela Consultant and former GHS counselor Amber Gilsdorf shares 7 steps geared toward empowering and engaging your student in the college search process.  Topics such as what types of colleges exist, qualities for best fits, campus visits, and testing will be covered.  Leave with confidence!  High school students welcome.
