Where the vision of the past meets the needs of the future--today!

In 1805, just days after their arrival, Granville settlers unpacked the books they transported
from Massachusetts on horseback and
appointed their first librarian.
 
Though much has changed, we remain at the center of our community by providing materials, assistance and programs that encourage all ages to gather, discover, achieve and enjoy!

Located in historic downtown Granville, the Library has over 11,600 registered borrowers and a collection of 94,000 materials ! 

 Library Hours:

• Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
• Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Sunday, Closed 

Return materials after hours via the Library's book drop located to the left of the main entrance.  Please make sure all DVDs, etc. are in cases when returning.
