Guest speaker Dr. Kevin Radaker presents "Thoreau's Passion for the Wild and the Wilderness." 

Visiting Thoreau scholar and performer, Dr. Kevin Radaker, explains Thoreau's environmental thought and his impact on the wilderness preservation movement.  Learn how American transcendentalism shaped Thoreau's reverence for the natural world through excerpts from his works, including his essay entitled "Walking."
