Join us on a Book It! Adventure!

What is the Book It! Adventure?  It's an annual program where we bring a book to life by hitting the road and visiting a location relevant to what we read!

The 2012 Book It! selection is Stealing Rembrandts: The Untold Sotries of Notorious Art Heists by Anthony Amore, an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind look at the black market world of art theft and how it compromises some of the greatest treasures the world has ever known--particularly Rembrandts.  This year's discussion circles feature guest David Jackson, retired Arts an Antiques officer. Book discussion Thursday, May 10th at 7:00 p.m.

To compliment our discussion, we will then visit the "Rembrandt in America" exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art--the first major exhibition to explore in depth the collecting of Rembrandt in America.  An exhibit 5 years in the making!  Trip is Saturday, May 19th, 2012.

Cost is $80 per person and includes a copy of the book, transportation, admission, boxed lunch and dinner at The Cabin in Ashland, Ohio.
